The App Store has been doing great, reaching 2 billion downloads with about 100,000 apps a few months ago. A couple months later (4 months to be exact), we’ve all contributed to a staggering 3,000,000,000 downloads of a wide range of apps. According to PocketGamer, this adds up to 10 million downloads per day! A ridiculous number, and some crazy applications have all done their part, from fart apps to whiteboard apps. This number could accelerate a great deal, as there’s expected to be over 200,000 apps sometime this year to be available in the AppStore – that’s double the number back in December.
